AQUARELLE

Originally created for an intimate destination wedding on the coast of Ireland, Aquarelle features full hand calligraphy and a delicate wash of watercolour. 

DESIGN

This two piece invitation suite is designed by hand with pen, ink, brush and watercolour.  The original artwork is then converted into a digital, print-ready file.  Design includes your return address written in matching calligraphy and printed on both the sending and response envelopes.

Invitation Card - 5" x 7" with A7 envelopes
Response Card - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", with A2 envelopes

PAPER OPTIONS

Choose from 100% white cotton rag paper (110 lb/300 gsm, inkjet printing, shown here) or smooth uncoated white paper (130lb/350 gsm, printed digitally).  For envelopes, choose from white or soft aqua. 

PRICING

For 100 invitations, pricing starts at $1365.00 CAD for digital printing on smooth paper and $1975.00 CAD for printing on cotton rag paper.  Please contact Joy to schedule a consultation in order to receive a personalized quote, tailored to your specifications.  

TEXT & LANGUAGE

Joy provides each couple with a selection of sample texts and is happy to give guidance regarding etiquette. This suite can be customized in any language with a Latin alphabet (English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese etc). The client is responsible for proofreading and approval.  

CONSULTATION

Local clients are invited to schedule an in-person meeting with Joy at her studio in the Mile-End neighbourhood of Montreal.  Joy also takes meetings via phone and video chat. 

ADD-ONS

Consider adding envelope addressing in hand calligraphy, custom envelope liners, a details card, vintage stamps or even custom Canada Post postage designed by Joy. 

TURNAROUND

Once the contract is signed and the deposit is made, please allow up to 2 weeks for the design proof.  Once the final proof is approved, allow 3-4 weeks for printing and assembly.
